What Does this CT Scan Test Result Mean?

My 13 month old had an accident late August last year that caused her some bleeding in the brain and retinal hemorrhage. Everything was OK up until March they did a ct scan that showed an acute on chronic bleed which said it was clinnacly insignificant. What exactly does this mean?? Someone please answer. Is this that she has new bleeding caused by her old bleeding or is this new trauma?? My 13 month old is not affected at all by this new bleed no symptoms at all

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hey ,
Thanks for writing.
Acute on chronic bleeding means a small bleeding occuring spontaneously from old site of bleeding.
It can be significant if its in gross amount.
As mentioned by you it insignificant than there is no need to worry.
Keep watch for seizure or unconsciousness.
Rest Dont think much about it as its very common .
Consult a doctor if seizure or vomiting occurs.
Thanks
